Wrap the measuring tape loosely around the dancer's neck and enter that measurement. You should be able to get a few fingers between the measuring tape and neck. Remember, they need some room to breath.

Pants

Irish Dance Pants
Wrap the tape around your waist (make sure it isn't on top of a belt or pants) measure around your natural waistline. This is about 1-2" below your naval.

This is a very important measurement. Do not "suck in," enter a smaller size, or guess a number "because that's been the size of all your other pants". Remember, the tape measure is always accurate.
